The 5th China-Australia Hospital Forum Held in Jiujiang
The 5th China-Australia Hospital Forum was held from August 12-13, 2011 in Jiujiang, Jiangxi with the goal of adjusting to the changes of medical environment, maintaining the healthy development of medical institutions, improving the construction and management level of hospitals and promoting the international communication and cooperation.
This forum was attended by the government officials from the Ministry of Health, Hong Kong Hospital Authority, as well as heads of health departments of Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangxi and so on. Presidents and vice presidents of over 300 hospitals from all over China were also present in this forum. The attendees had a thorough research and communication about the current hot topics like hospital reform and management.
The topic mainly involved the key cores and development trend of current hospital reform and management. Through the research and discussion in the forum, as well as the visit and survey, the sense of innovation will be triggered among the participators, who actively showed exchanged their own opinions, exchanged their ideas, and accumulated their wisdom for the greater good. This enabled the health administrative department heads and hospital leaders to have a better understanding of the development orientation of hospitals and promoted the domestic and international communication in this field.
This China-Australia Hospital Forum was hosted by David Zhang, President of the Australia-China Relationship Association, and received the support from the International Communication and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Health, Jiangxi Provincial Department of Health, Shanghai Health Capital Construction Administration Center and Jiujiang government. Wu Jinping, vice mayor of Jiujiang and Guan Yanmin, deputy director of Jiangxi Provincial Department of Health, went to the dais to address the opening of the forum.
